Ulrich Clemm
_Ulrich Clemm is a founder and managing partner of AdAstra
Erste Beteiligungs GmbH, Munich, and of AdAstra Venture
Consult GmbH, Munich.
_Ulrich Clemm was formerly active in various functions at
HypoVereinsbank, most recently as managing director of HVB
Beteiligungs GmbH, the Private Equity arm of HypoVereinsbank.
_Prior to this, Ulrich Clemm was instrumental in setting up the
Corporate Finance business of HypoVereinsbank.
_As leader of a Corporate Finance market team, he was
responsible for the acquisition and structuring of Corporate
Finance business activities from the bank network.
_Ulrich Clemm joined HypoVereinsbank at the end of 1990
and began his professional career as a trainee in the
corporate clients division. He quickly moved up to lead
corporate accounts in the Munich head office, where he
took over responsibility for several consortium financings.
_Next, he spent 2 1/2 years as Personal Assistant to
the speaker of the board of directors of HypoVereinsbank.
_Ulrich Clemm concluded his law studies by passing
the 2nd State examination in law at the Ludwig
Maximilian University in Munich.
_Ulrich Clemm is 48 years old, married, and has 3 children.
